Naheed Fahim Foundation Inc. (NFF) aims to serve those who want to serve others. We provide mentorship, structure, and legitimacy to your initiatives!
Programs
Dhikr Hour
"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find ease." Quran 13:28
Dhikr in Islam means remembrance of God and Dhikr Hour was created to establish a spiritual community dedicated to helping each other improve. Insha'Allah (God willing) we will meet in person and also have virtual opportunities to recite adhkaar (plural of Dhikr) from the Quran and Sunnah.
Shifa
It is well documented that spiritual care is instrumental, if not necessary, in improving and maintaining good quality health. Yet, there is a severe lack of resources for Muslim patients in our hospitals. Furthermore, there is no easily accessible resource that provides even basic information about the needs of Muslim patients. Shifa was created to fulfill that need. Our volunteers regularly update the Google Folder with information and make it accessible to everyone.
Community Care Committee
Community Care Committee (CCC) helps disenfranchised families get back on their feet by providing financial support and connections with relief organizations. CCC has successfully assisted two families over a period of five years! CCC is a Zakat-eligible program and we request that you donate generously!
Camden Cleanup
Students from the Muslim Medical Student Association at Cooper Medical School partnered with Naheed Fahim Foundation Inc. to create a clean and healthy environment for Camden, NJ residents. They cleaned the streets monthly and created standard documents that anyone in the future can use.

Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes! All your donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a letter from us at the end of the year which can be used for tax purposes.
Can ANYONE start a program?
Absolutely! Anyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or religion can apply to run a program under our organization.
How much of my donation will actually reach the people in need?
100%! Thanks to a few donors who take care of our organizational costs, every penny that you donate will go to the program of your choice. We do not have any employees and all our programs are run exclusively by volunteers.
Why don't you have pictures of relief work on your website?
We are dedicated to serving our beneficiaries with dignity and respect. Since most of our beneficiaries are local, we have decided against sharing their images or personal information publicly.
